PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION POLICY

Purpose

I3 Strategy Partners, LLC ("Company") is committed to protecting and safeguarding your Personal Information, and the Company has adopted this Policy to govern the treatment of your Personal Information. The loss of Personal Information can result in substantial harm to individuals, including embarrassment, inconvenience, and fraudulent use of the information.

The purpose of the Policy is to define Personal Information and set forth how the Company uses, handles, and protects your Personal Information.

For purposes of this Policy, "Personal Information" means information the Company has collected, obtained or otherwise maintains or has in its possession that identifies or can be used to identify or authenticate an individual, including, but not limited to: (a) names, (b) addresses, (c) telephone numbers, (d) email addresses, (e) date of birth, (f) demographic information, (g) government-issued identification numbers, (h) likeness, (i) biometric, medical, health, or health insurance information, and (j) other personal information. The Personal Information the Company collects may change from time to time based on the requirements of any market research project in which the Company may engage.

Using, Handling, and Retaining Personal Information

Collection. Personal Information will be collected in connection with the Company's operations, including market research and related operations, and for the Company's use or on behalf of the Company's customers, clients and other third parties with whom the Company provides goods or services to and/or does business (collectively, the "Clients"). The Company may obtain Personal Information from Clients, which may be combined with other Personal Information the Company collects or that you provide to the Company. The Company and its representatives may only collect Personal Information in compliance with applicable Company policies, including this Policy, and the Personal Information collected must be limited to that which is reasonably necessary to accomplish the Company's legitimate business purposes, including market research and related purposes, or as is necessary to comply with law.

Use and Access of Personal Information.  The Company uses the Personal Information in connection with its operations, and in all cases, in compliance with relevant federal and state laws with respect to privacy. For example, the Company uses Personal Information it collects for:

  • Market research purposes for Clients who typically use the Personal Information to improve their products, services and advertising.
  • Conducting research and analysis to improve the Company's products and services, identify consumer trends, develop consumer segments and other market research purposes.
  • Monitoring, administering, and enhancing the Company's services, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical, and survey purposes.

Your Personal Information will not be used in a way that is inconsistent with this Policy.

Sharing of Personal Information.  The Company and its employees, agents, representatives, including any contractor, consultant or third-party provider of services to the Company ("Third-Party Service Provider") who have access to Personal Information may from time to time disclose Personal Information in the following ways:

  • To the Clients, which handle Personal Information according to their own privacy policies.
  • To Company employees, agents, or representatives if the recipient has a has a need to know the information for the purpose of performing his or her job-related duties. Personal Information may only be shared with a Third-Party Service Provider if it has a need to know the information for the purpose of providing the contracted services and if sharing the Personal Information complies with this Policy.
  • As required or permitted by applicable law or for legal purposes, including but not limited to: (a) when the Company believes in good faith that applicable law requires disclosure, (b) pursuant to a court order, subpoena, warrant, in response to a law enforcement request, (c) for purposes of enforcing the Company's legal rights, or (d) as otherwise permitted, required or requested by law, regulation, or government authority programs. In addition, in the event of the Company’s reorganization, merger, or sale, the Company may transfer any and all Personal Information to the relevant third party.
  • With your consent. Whenever the Company obtains your consent, you shall be permitted to withdraw such consent in accordance with this Policy and applicable law; provided, however, that the Company may retain any of your Personal Information for compliance purposes as permitted or required by applicable law.

Security. The Company uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of personally identifiable information, including Personal Information. The Company periodically reviews and enhances such safeguards as necessary.

Retention and Disposal. The Company will keep Personal Information only for the amount of time it is needed to fulfill the legitimate business purpose for which it was collected or to satisfy a legal requirement.

Amendment and Revision. This Policy may be revised from time to time. This Policy was last revised on October 20, 2021.

Your Rights

You have rights when it comes to how your Personal Information is handled. These rights may vary depending on the applicable jurisdiction, but may include:

  • The right to know what Personal Information the Company maintains about you and/or with whom the Company has shared the Personal Information.
  • The right to access or correct your Personal Information, including obtaining the specific pieces of information we collected from you.
  • A right to delete the Personal Information.

However, your request for the Company to delete your Personal Information does not affect any Personal Information that the Company previously shared with Clients in accordance with the Company’s privacy policies. Additionally, the Company may still retain some of your Personal Information as needed for legal, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes.
